Milwaukee M18 8ah (154 watts)

Passenger [Question/Post]

August 4, I fly SWA from KC to LAX, then I fly Asiana Airlines to Seoul to Bangkok. The most recent regulations state that you can carry on as many lithium batteries under 100 watts as you like, none over 160 watts and up to two batteries between 100 and 160, with the permission of the airline. I will have two M18 8ah batteries, probably in my jacket pockets, in zip lock bags and electrical tape covering the metal connections. Both batteries are new and have not been charged since bought and will not be charged before my trip. The only place that I’m afraid of having problems is at security at Seoul I’ve tried calling Asiana Airlines several times and, if they actually answer the call, they just hang up on me. I would prefer not to lose $300 worth of batteries if there isn’t much chance of allowing me to travel on with the batteries.
