Sellers, is it worth a shot messaging you as a buyer and ask that you turn on international shipping?

I am from Europe and for almost every item I add to bag on Depop I get a warning saying that international shipping isn't possible. It's annoying, since there obviously isn't an option to filter well almost anything on the app.

I was thinking about messaging the sellers of items I wanted to buy and asking them would they consider turning on the option of international shipping, but I am not sure if it is a hassle for them? Is it somehow different than domestic shipping?
