Manus is finally defeated!

This bastard was giving me a run for my money for a long, long time. Started playing in December of last year and just totally hit a wall with him. Went months without playing, but every now and then I’d start the game up and fight him. Never felt like I was making any progress. Decided to get more experience under my belt and platinum Lies of P and Elden Ring (still making my way through ER’s DLC), and come back with vengeance. The battle is over. I can now join the ranks of all the other Manus ass kickers. He’s actually a really cool fight once you get the hang of it, but I will say- his ring of magic that closes in on you is absolute bullshit. I didn’t have the silver pendent so my strategy was to just run towards him when he started up that attack. Didn’t matter, dodging that attack is very hit or miss. Sometimes I could dodge it unscathed, most times it would demolish me. Anyways, what do I need to do now? I’m kinda lost going in circles and it seems like my only option is to go down a ladder only to be killed by a dragon.
