C beginner switching from Linux to Windows

I started learning C a month ago and it's been going decently well. I've used Fedora Linux for 3-4 years but recently I had to switch to Windows 10 because of some incompatibility issues with my laptop. In Linux I installed gcc with `sudo dnf install gcc` and then I did all my exercises and projects in VSCode. Doing the same in Windows seems complicated, I can't just install gcc. What's the best way? I also heard about WSL on Windows and thought about it but then I don't know how to use VSCode with it.
