Trying to help others with BPD and dealing with people lashing out
I’m fairly new on reddit and i wanted to be part of the community to help myself and others. i like to think that i’ve been recovering very well and ive gathered a lot of helpful tips and advice that might help others as well bc i want to help if i can. i try not be so critical and im careful with my wording and only pose things as suggestions bc ik how easy it can be to be received negatively or as judgment. im not saying i have all the answers but i know enough to give suggestions and advice.
i quickly learned that people can also split on me even when im trying to help (bc they’re asking for help) and i mean well. how do you guys deal with? should i continue helping? or at one point do i need to stop engaging for my own sake? how do i determine if some people just aren’t ready to hear hard things to face about themselves?
