If I buy one of the Prime Resurgence packs as a new player, will it ruin the game for me?

Started playing over the weekend. Really enjoying myself. Just got to Mercury this morning. Did a defence mission on Earth and got my Volt frame and an item in each slot to level 30.

I usually throw a bit of money at a F2P if I enjoy it (gives me some new toys and supports the game for less than the price of most games), but I'm worried that it might make a large part of the game trivial by having access to a prime frame and 2 prime weapons early on. Or do they not make a huge difference and it's more about the mods and other upgrades, and it won't break the balance?

Also worried that by already having prime items I didn't earn then they won't be special anymore. Suppose that one depends on how frequent they come and how often you swap between them.

Anyone done this before and can let me know how they felt? Or just an experienced player who can give me their thoughts?
