Would I be wrong to respond to the justification that “the Palestinians voted for hamas” with “well the Americans voted for Trump or Bush” ?

Because at the end of the day once we start saying it’s okay for civilians to be targeted because of their leaders, we are all fked! These guys do whatever they want once in office and we have no real control so I’d be damned if I had to pay for their bs

It’s a dangerous sentiment

Yes I recognise that one is a terror group etc but something about that justification irks my soul, I could easily see someone else using it against me so why can’t those that still say it?
