What's the Source of Institutional Pride?

Our universities rank lowest just within the subcontinent, let alone the world. Yet BUET/DMC bros got greater institutional pride than Harvard/MIT students. Ya'll romanticise below par institutions calling them "dream," "brand" lmao. They were right I guess, when they said khali kolshi baje beshi. You'll realise how insignificant your institution is once you leave BD.
