Am I crazy or are bots more efficient than actual players?

I've been dabbling with some killers lately, and sometimes people leave games and leave a bot in their place

But the way they evade me is on another level to actual players and I'm almost convinced they cheat to know where I am at all times
I've had players who I've struggled to kill, sure, but bots are the only ones who can consistently get away from me

Also side note, would it kill them to just end the game in my favor if I'm left with just 1 bot left?
I didn't load into pub lobbies to play against AI
