Would you be taking Cialis if you weren’t having sex with your wife?

My husband (43m) and I (42f) have had intimacy issues. A dead bedroom for a long time. (3 years; not by my choice ). I found cialis in his work bag. I asked about it bc we are not having sex.

He said he has it bc it helps him feel more confident about his manhood (which is great) but again we are not having sex and he didn’t even tell me he was getting it after I have suggested it. Would a man take this just to feel confident and not intend to have intercourse ?
