I'm tired of this constant "See, I drew you as the coping Soyjack, and me as the based Gigachad" logic. I will admit that it has gotten less repetitive, however. It's not that bad anymore. The main thing is the stupid character holding sign thing. Okay, so you generated (or) drew a character holding a sign, saying your side is correct. Boo hoo, realistically nobody cares. You both think you're looking into the other's echo chamber while you're on a pedestal, but in reality, you're both in an echo chamber that hasn't stopped reverberating for years now. It's getting tiring.

You both have to understand that, at this point, your words are meaningless to the other side. You won't sway anyone. You won't win them over. The argument is old enough to the point where basically everyone already has rooted their stance on AI art.

I'm still against most AI art, blah, blah, blah. I still am going to try to create my own art despite AI, even if it sucks, blah, blah. It's all been said.

It's a constant uphill battle for the both of you, and it seems it will never do downhill unless you turn around and ignore the other side.

Here's my personal stance: Let people do what they want. If someone wants to call their AI creation "art", then ignore and just let them. If someone wants to draw something to despite the use of AI, ignore it and just go on.

But I feel like we should be focusing more on the companies that plan to use AI as a way to cut corners and jobs rather than each other. It may not be happening yet, but with how companies are, you can plan on it happening. I feel like we can all agree that we don't want people out of their jobs, right? Well this DOES threaten artists and designers in the industry. As AI doesn't need a break, doesn't need food, water, doesn't have a life or family. They can keep generating at little to no cost or breaks unless something happens to the AI itself. This sounds anti-AI, but it's genuinely the truth. While previous technological advances opened up more jobs than they took, this will not. It will take a ton of jobs, or maybe just devalue them extremely. While opening up maybe a few jobs, if even that.

The environment suffers as well, as does it with EVERYTHING we do. Before we focus on making Ghibli style less more accurate, we should be trying to found out how to make it less environmentally harming IF we do plan to use it. We can't stop hurting the environment, but we can make it less impactful so that we can EVENTUALLY start to fix all we have done to it.

At the end of the day, you both are right and wrong about things. Nobody will even be completely correct. Embrace AI or not, it will affect more than just your feed or your opinion. It has the potential to change everything for everyone very fast, and if we hope to keep people in jobs, we can't keep mindlessly attacking each other.

You don't form together during a crisis, you form before it if you have the time.

It may not be a crisis yet, but just a single foot over the ledge is enough to make people panic.

I know there's a good chance I'll get downvoted for this. And that's fine. I'm not gonna engage in any arguments unrelated to this, if at all just because of how PRESSING you people all. I swear, I would be sweating bullets trying to answer some of these things because I suck at countering points.

We're all human. So, with that being said, have a good day/night, and if you are using AI, try to be genuinely creative with it. Create a scenerio nobody's seen before. I urge you to take time with your prompts. They may not be nearly as much effort as most art, but any effort to make that prompt as convoluted and detailed is better than slapping key words into it and posting the result.

This is probably the last thing I'll say on AI on the Internet, because I'm sick of the arguments.

At the end of the day, I'm just a stupid fucking teenager.
What do I know?

I'm kinda done with this debate. All of it. Both sides. You're both an echo chamber (and more) (gif unrelated. I just like Tenna and it'll grab attention)
