Common not to be seen the entire month of your due date by doctor?

I go to Kaiser and will continue to have month appointments up till my due dates but with my son I remember I had to come in every 2 weeks so I’m confused. It’s been a while since I had a baby so just wondering 🤔 is this is typical?
