OK e erybody, help me please
I am about to make a possible game setting (I will keep in in the idea drawers because I cannot code for shit and I cannot compose music - DO NOT TELL ME TO COMMISSION BECAUSE I HAVE NO FUCKING MONEY) and it takes place in a fictional country that consists of plains, deserts, mountains, valleys, and jungles.
Thing is, there's winter. I have a gut feeling something is not adding up with the setup, especially because jungles are associated with tropical locations (or I may just be out of touch here, so someone living in any country that matches the overall description, help me please). I know it's fiction, but I personally believe doing something like this wrong us a bit too much for me.
This can also greatly help me determine which cultures I can draw inspo from more prominently because when I make a setting, I draw inspo form different real cultures but also pick those that will stick out more (without being offensive, of course - this is especially difficult because my characters have commited crimes worthy of getting them a cell in the International Criminal Court regardless of any correlation to real world cultures and ethnicities because the point is they're being nasty in general).
