The Desire For Change

2025 July 6: Dear Diary,

I have lived in the Northeast of the United States for my entire life. It has honestly been very good. Despite me not fitting into the culture very well I do love to visit cities like Pittsburgh, Boston, and New York City. I have also been very fascinated by other cities all over the United States. San Diego, Baltimore, and New Orleans were all very nice when I visited. I have never been to Seattle, Las Vegas, or Denver, but they all sound like they would be fun. Something about the change in scenery excites me. 

The stereotypical hyper fixation for Autistic people is trains. Recently I have been hyper fixating on airports and amusement parks. I like to keep track of how many I have been to and which ones I would like to go to in the future. I loved the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport when I was there.

My focus on different cities has got me wondering about which city would be the best for me when I move. I was thinking of something on the West Coast, but I would have to visit the city first. I have just been thinking about all the opportunities that I do not even know exist. All the thinking makes me excited for the future and grateful for the present.
