adult horror/scifi novel about woman who sees visions of recently murdered women in her town.

unfortunately i cannot remember the author nor the name of the book. it was fiction thankfully.

i read this book around 5-6 years ago. its a horror/sci-fi novel about a woman who owns a hotel in a small town. she starts to get weird dreams and terrible headaches. she starts to see visions from the perspective of women that were murdered by a local but not yet known about serial killer. the first vision is of a girl running through the woods at night until she is caught by a man. the second is of a woman chained to a bed in the dark. she reaches around the room and starts feeling something on the chair in front of her. it’s a dried up decapitated head.

the main characters sister ran from the family 15 years ago, but she decides to see her sister. i remember the sister being some type of psychic and that’s why she ran from the family. the sister had red hair.

the story had to have taken place in between 2007-2010 based on the usage of a blackberry phone (model curve 8300. i feel like i remember seeing this number on the page and wondering why they put that detail in.)

the book came from my local library when they were getting rid of books. the physical book was hardcover with the dust jacket that had the cover art printed on. the cover art had some type of orange or yellow in it. it was pretty thick. i don’t remember how many pages because i never got to finish it.
