Hip Arthroscopy - 9 months post surgery

I had hip arthroscopy surgery with microfracture (due to damaged / not repairable cartilage) - had 3 months on crutches and then from 3-6 months it started to feel much better than how it was pre-operation and got back to doing more activities that I hadn’t really been able to enjoy pre-operation.

Around 7-9 months timeline, I started to notice it was becoming a constant pain again, both doing activities and also just general standing / lying down which is what it was like before surgery.

Has anyone else had similar situations, and is this likely the effects of the surgery not being successful and need to look at next steps, and if so what are those next steps?
