Bought a refurbished R8 directly from Canon 5 weeks ago and already had to send it out for problems. Is this common?

I’m bummed. No camera for 4th of July, and I still paid about $1300 for the body with tax. I started getting constant error 01 flashing with every lens I own (from RF to EF L IIs) and could no longer use it.

Camera only took about 40 shots when I received it from Canon. Its kind of put a bad taste in my mouth despite being a Canon person for 20 years. It’s my first refurb purchase and I’m already not psyched to get it back…I’d put down my 5D Mk4 for something a little lighter and now I’m feeling like I’d rather not own this R8 if it’s already having issues.

Is this a common occurance? It doesn’t seem like it. I feel screwed out of a lot of money.
