Tips for a new golfer that’s planning to do a round on the course for the first time
Hello, i started getting into golf a couple months ago, went to the range about 8 times in that span and had a full day lesson to get my golfing license (yep, we have those in the Netherlands).
I don’t want to be that guy that just goes to ranges forever and never actually plays, and i wanted to ask for some tips for my first round.
I’ll be going solo since no one i know plays golf, when i’m going i’ll take one of the last tee times.
Was wondering how i could prepare for my first time, for example should i just focus hard on practice for a while and get a lesson here and there? I’m mostly worried about having a horrible pace and not being able to make 9 holes in two hours. Getting my own set of clubs this tuesday and will be practicing a lot for the next two weeks, but i wonder how long i should really be practicing before i give it a good shot.
