Immigrant MAGA Mom

I love my mom. She’s a fierce lady and I’ve always looked up to her.

Ever since the pandemic, she’s gone deep down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole. It all started with her doing organic food and nutrition research. From there she got into anti vax stuff and now she’s a full blown Trump supporter.

She’s not a US citizen so she can’t even vote, but she’s very passionate about Trump.

I feel like she’s lost the ability to socialize. She can’t talk about anything without mentioning deep state or whatever. Some of the things she talks about actually hurts me. It’s so sad to see her like this.

I’ve tried confronting her but she gets really defensive and storms off.

I really miss being able to talk to her about normal things. What do I do? Should I just let her be?
