I want to cut my neck (I won't, probably)

I don't know why I want to cut my neck but I really want to. It's not even really a thing of me wanting to die, I just want to cut it and tbh most of my skin but especially the neck.

I've been beating myself up (physically) and that's been kinda nice but it doesn't feel like enough.
