Out of curiosity has anyone ever tried alternating between 0.5 Fin and 0.25 Fin everyday?

By that I mean taking 0.5mg eod and on alternate days taking 0.25mg? Basically I had increased my dosage from 0.5 EOD to 0.5 ED about 5-6 months ago and have been getting sides (watery semen and slightly lower libido) for a while now. I wasn't very happy with my results on 0.5 eod so had increased my dosage. I think I then had a shed about 2 months ago because my density is lower than what it was before. But I'm pretty sure it's a shed as my hair had improved before so there's no other reason for it to become worse now. Anyway, I was thinking instead of .5 eod or 0.25 ED does it make take 0.5 one day and 0.25 the other? I dont want to keep switching between finasteride dosages so often especially because I just had a shed and don't want to disrupt any potential progress. Also it shouldn't be as bad as taking 0.5 eod (from the pov of fluctuatinh in finasteride serum/blood levels) and hopefully I'll probably have lesser sides too.
