How do you play mage? 50 game loss streak and counting

I'm minimum diamond on every other class, over 500 hours in the game, and I can't finish a single run with mage since the latest patch.

I've got literally thousands of hours in autobattlers and never had a loss streak like this before. I've tried every build i can think of and none of them work. This has made it impossible to evaluate my board at any given point because I have no idea what I should be building towards or looking for.

Obviously mana orbs are the most valuable item and ice mage is viable if you know the correct items to craft (which I extremely don't) but beyond that I am completely at a loss.
