AITAH - Girlfriend keeps calling a dude I know ugly, so I called one of her friends ugly and now she’s mad.

This guy our friend group just met recently has been hitting on my girlfriend’s best friend. In my opinion, as a dude myself, he’s just average. Got a real rural look, but not ugly at all.

My girlfriend and her best friend constantly call the guy ugly behind his back, even though not only is he not, but he’s been nothing but super nice, kind, and polite to the both of them.

Anyway, this is where I’m wondering if I’m the asshole. I got tired of them calling the new guy ugly on a daily basis, so I pointed out that another friend of theirs is literally ugly.

My girlfriend got pissed and said she’s just not going to talk to me for the rest of today and I said that’s fine cause I’m tired of her sexism where she can say an average dude is ugly but I’m forbidden from saying any actual ugly woman is ugly.

My girlfriend is acting like I’m the asshole, but am I? Seems hypocritical to me.
