Issues with xbox

Every time I try to invite it says something went wrong, ive tried restarting the xbox, quitting out of nightreign, clearing my data, nothing is working, and when I can invite the invite is black (instead of purple which is my set color) and when my friend tries to accept it it just doesnt work, this is only happening on nightreign. Anyone know what could be happening?
