[r/HellsKitchenNYC] I ain't feeling that safe without our guardian devil around, so I figured I'll take matters into my own hands
Only now I'm starting to get how much I was taking DD for granted the whole time he was operating. Hell, I was even sceptical whether or no the is some sort of an urban legend among the residents, you know, way back when our Hornhead was just this weird ninja-like dude in black. 'Cause, over time I grew accustomed to the fact that nobody ever cares about what's brewing in the Kitchen, so nobody would want bother protecting us.
And now when he is seemingly out of bussines,(?) I'm back to walking the streets looking over my shoulder. No kidding, this week alone there were two robberies and a shootout between some thugs - and that's only on **my** street. At least DD kept them in the fear of God, so all that scum didn't pop up on the streets so openly. I've always executed my 2nd amendment rights, so at the very least there's a gun on me at all times. On the same line of thought - makes me wander how the rest of you are getting by?
Anyway, if DD's example has taught me anything, than it's that there's always something you can do to look out for your fellow neighbor. And since we're pretty much by ourselves these days, why don't I step up, right? So I figured I'll try to run some sort of charity shooting range for those who want come practice with a gun for self-defense purposes. I know, lots of folks are scraping by, so there is no set entrance fee - the entire enterprise runs on voluntary donations from visitors. You can also drop by to ask stuff about required paperwork - I'll try to answer to the best of my abilities. Just remember - I'm no lawyer, just a guns enthusiast, ok?
(OOC: this takes place during the year in Born Again when Matt dropped the title)
