question regarding audition process!

Hi! I’ve been active in the scaring community for quite a long time now, and I do have past experience. Though, I’ve never been part of an amusement park haunt so that is new to me. A few weeks ago, I auditioned for my first amusement park spooky event. When I was done, they told my friend and I that we would hear back within a few days. They gave me a callback sheet with future haunt dates. This sheet also claimed I would hear back from them in the next couple days. It’s been 2 weeks, and I have heard genuinely nothing. I reached out to the park 4 days ago, and have heard nothing back. I understand that it is a holiday weekend, so I have been giving them grace. But, they are open and have been posting on their social media. Are we being ghosted, were we simply not casted and not told, do any of you have any idea? Myself and the 3 people I know that also auditioned dislike being in the dark too. If I remember correctly, the original job call said that it’s possible we could have rehearsals later in July aswell, so I’m worried to make plans and then suddenly have to cancel if they do reach out. I really hope I’m not thinking too much about this, I understand casting takes time. I just want to hear something :( if it’s possible anybody could give me insight on this it would be much appreciated, thank you!!!
