Looking for a crew to start a self-funded Youtube Documentary Channel

Hello, I am a Mass Comm alumni from NUST, but never really got into producing long form visual content. However I do have a knack of research, what areas to cover, what stories are still untouched and such like.

I do not have a camera but do know how to operate one, if need be. The skill I lack most in is Video editing and Business Ops (meaning when to put video on Youtube, how to monetize etc.).

I can get a cam if this post actually brings me some people invested in the vision. I do watch a lot of documentaries. Over the years, my inspiration has been this french documentary making channel and this one from States.

Lastly, the purpose of this post is to test the waters, see if anyone else has enough interest/time/capital to invest in this idea. The next practical step towards this would be to research some potential stories to cover, do a virtual meeting or two to decided which story to cover, and then actually go film the prospect with proactive permissions taken beforehand.

About myself, I'm a salaried class person, 25M, with a long-standing interest in "showing the truth as it exists" and watching good content from similar other producers. I am open to traveling any weekend to anywhere in PK as long as I can return to my job on Monday (because abhi pese udhr se hi ate hen bs). Currently I am in Hafizabad, a place 2hrs from Gujranwala. I've lived an year in Gujranwala, a year in Peshawar, a year in Murree, 2 years in Kohat, 4 years in Islamabad and 2 more in Rawalpindi. Moneywise, I can spare 20Kish to this project every month out of my own pocket, but obviously it won't be paying the partners (videographers, visual editors etc), but that money will be initially used to cover the equipment/permission/(bribes) costs. If/when the money starts coming in, we can formalize that stuff too. Just don't want to count any chickens before the eggs hatch.

Lmk of any questions/critics or willingness to give it an actual go.

Thank you
