Megatokyo, how did I forget you?

Found and old HDD full of old memories including mp3s that dated back to 1993 and one of the songs I happened upon was simply named Pirogoeth.mp3 which didn't immediately ring a bell. The song didn't either at first but then the next song was Piro's Sadness.mp3 which definitely sounded familiar and was by the same artist. Piro isn't enough to search on, Kim Justice leads to a youtuber that does video game stuff but didn't see much music plus the song is older than youtube. Thankfully Pirogoeth is unique enough that it leads to only two things on the internet that I found. One is the handle of someone on Github who wrote an openauth plugin for minecraft servers (and might well lurk here, Hi pirogoeth of Github!) and the other led me to strip 158 which hit like a isekai truck!
How did I forget Megatokyo? How did I forget Rent-a-Zilla?
How did I forget Piro and Largo and Ping?
Trauma and child(ren) for the most part. Changed jobs, changed homes, you know... life happened.
strip 407 has a link to Kim Justice on the now defunct mp3s.com and is dated just one day before the mp3 file date so that mystery is solved. Were there others? Dunno, archive.org let me down there. Nothing from that time period other than the fact that mp3.com was shutting down to be merged with cnet.
Now I've got a loooong read ahead of me. Not certain where I left off but absolutely amazed it's still around.
