Klipsch KSW-200 cuts in/out.

Example video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/qV1uHHjb4KJYjQBN7

I have a klipsch ksw-200 that has begun cutting in and out when getting pushed a little. Louder definitely but nothing abnormal. When it cuts out the rear led goes red, but stays on, it then turns green after a moment and the sub makes sound again. This definitely correlates with louder passages or increases in volume basically anywhere, however it NEVER happens on music, even with deep bass music like the Mala In Cuba album. Its connected via sub out to a Marantz NR series reciever.

I believe its entering a protection mode, but don't think its a thermal protection due to it turning back on on its own so quickly. Is there a clipping protection mode? Would a short cause this behavior?

How would I go about diagnosing the source of this cut out issue?

I have a multimeter, good soldering tools, a can do attitude, and common sense enough to unplug the unit and let the capacitors discharge before opening it up.
