Always sleepy during the day

Hello friends! I'm on extended release ritalin (27mg) that I take almost every day. Sometimes I like days off lol. I've been noticing more and more lately that when I take my meds, I'm sleepy all day and I can't get through the day without at least one nap. Does anyone else experience this, and how do you manage it? I'm almost done with school and about to start a job with 12+ hour shifts. I can't be sleepy all day like this anymore
