Should I start a save as St. Pauli?

I am a new player. I want to start a challenging save and St. Pauli caught my eye. I am afraid of playing as them, since I don’t want to get sacked and waste time.

I started a save as Hamburg. And wondered if playing as St. Pauli is as hard as it looks. Can someone with not so big experience survive the relegation battle and bring this club to relative success?
