Contact allowed only every two months

My niece cut me off she got everyone else on board they are basically lost to me. They were not involved in it.

I contacted her kids only one or two times recently to say happy bday and send money. I wrote her mom more because I was hurt and I didn’t know what to do.

So she texts that the family told her they are uncomfortable with my “ constant contact”and to please stop.

She says once every two months would be ok,

To me this feels like the ultimate insult Worse than saying not to reach out at all.
