How was King Crab Started?

King Crab was stared because as someone with a 9-5, I knew I could promote something and I could listen to what the buyers wanted in a crypto coin. Like a lot of people getting into crypto currency they get onboarded into Solana. I wanted to learn, how to make a coin, what people wanted in a crypto coin, and I felt I have the promotion part down. I made a couple coins on Pump.Fun, that never gained any traction, but I used the questions I was asked and built my knowledge in the ecosystem.

I kept listening to the future of the SUI blockchain, the Sui Play would be coming out later in 2025, the ecosystem was small and just hasn't had the cluster of trading like Solana has had. I didn't want to make a coin that was similar to the other coins in the SUI ecosystem, and I like the show, Deadliest Catch, growing up. I used Grok to make the first king crab images and put all my holdings in crypto into King Crab, when I first made the coin on Moonbags.io. I started shilling the coin on X spaces and also holding my own spaces, and it was like a podcast because no one was present when I did them. Our web designer and our artist started by volunteering but as we went on I knew they had to be paid for what they done.

We were holding a space one Wednesday night in May, the buys started rolling in, we got to the point we bonded. I made sure the Dex Screener was paid and updated at 4am, and told the guys I had to head to bed. when I woke up around 10am i checked Telegram and people were going nuts. Not because we went from 11K market cap to 83K in less than 24 hours, but Cetus got hacked and SUI accounts were frozen. I talked to my 1% holders and we worked on getting King Crab back to being tradeable. We chose to set up a Turbos liquidity pool and we were back up and running. Also during that time we set up a print to ship merch store on My Spread Shop, so we could spread the love of our amazing King Crab art. As we keep growing we find new ways to reinvest into King Crab. You can check King Crab out on X at @KingCrabonSUI, our merch store at https://king-crab.myspreadshop.com/, and buy King Crab on Moonbags.io at https://moonbags.io/bondingcurve/coins/moonbags-king-crab-sui-bdsYiUXJxt
