oil leak at drive shaft

i have a yamaha xt660x 2004 and i have a oil leak at the drive shaft oil seal and after i took out the old oil seal for replacement ive seen the bearing from the engine that holds the drive shaft and ive seen something kinda weird when i spin the shaft the bearing barely spins but when i spin the bearing it spins freely without it having any friction on the shaft and the shaft doesnt spin is it normal? do i need to replace the bearing or the shaft? btw im observing that the shaft is a little bit off centre it more down right bent i think or idk maybe its just my imagination any suggestions would help
