40th Class Reunion

My high school class’s 40 year reunion is coming up next month. We all got along in school (only 50 individuals), but some of my classmates sure did morph into younger versions of our Boomer parents. Most of them still live in our hometown and are VERY important people in their own heads. My text to a friend who feels the same:

Yeah, I don’t feel the need to try and impress anyone and everyone the way a lot of our classmates do.

“Wow, you/you’re: A) on the city council/school board/etc.?” B) a [fill-in-the-profession]?” C) live in [fill-in-the-location]?” D) have [fill-in-the-number] kids/grandkids?” E) are married to [fill-in-the-name]?”

Me: “Christ! I remember when you pissed your pants in third grade and look at how important you think you are now!” 😎
