Looking for good compact camera for up to €1,000

Hi,

I’m currently looking for a compact camera :). Since I don’t know too much about this stuff, I’d really appreciate your help. These are the main things I’m looking for:

-Flip screen -Good close-up shots -Built-in flash -Should be able to record videos, but photos are more important -The photos shouldn’t look super artificial or overly processed right from the start like they often do on an iPhone. I’m looking for a camera that takes nice photos straight out of the box on auto mode, but with a more natural look – if you know what I mean.

I’m totally fine with an older model, preferably from Canon. Or do you maybe have recommendations for other brands that are even better? What do you think about the Canon G7X or the Panasonic Lumix DC-TZ99?

Would really appreciate any replies – thanks in advance!
