Kids are truly ruining pool season.

I enjoy going to the pool early on the weekends and after work if I get off work early. Now that school is over (ends mid June in Virginia) the kids are EVERYWHERE. The worst part is that the adults do nothing to stop their kids from bothering everyone and just laugh.

The other day, I was lounging in the shallow end where they have lounge chairs set up. The kids were shooting water through water guns, jumping, and SCREECHING. The parents were completely clueless, or just don’t care…and were drinking and laughing at the kids having “fun.”

I’m highly considering joining a private pool club and not using the apartment’s pool anymore. I chose this neighborhood due to the late 20/early 30 singles and couples vibe. It also averages around $2500 for a one bedroom apt…but some families with 3-4 kids slip in because the apt allows for affordable housing…
