Going to college so i need advice

So I am going to iiit allahabad this year and I will be leaving home for the first time

So yesterday my father sat me down and told me that I should be very careful of 2 things in college

1. nasha
2. ladkiyan

See I agree on Nasha I won't do that ever but the second point I mean I during my jee prep I did not talk to a single girl in mu coaching always thought that I will do all kind of shit in college but now my father said this

He said that the laws are very biased and even if by chance someone frames me my life will be destroyed and the hardwork of the last 2 years (got 38** rank in jee) will all go down the drain.

I want to ask the college students have you seen any cases like this and how careful should I be in college while dating after talking to dad even I feel kinda scared

In general bhi agar koi advice ho fresher ke liye toh bata dena🙏🙏🙏
