Feedback on my Napoleon-related movie ideas?

I have 2 Napoleon related movie ideas. They're both kind of psychological/philosophical/emotional/character-driven and aren't an usual war biopic/romantic story. I am only writing down ideas, scenes, developing characters, themes, even a bit of scripts.

1. Boney & I - A movie about Napoleon's friendship with Betsy Balcombe. She was actually a real person and she has written memoirs! Napoleon was kinda like a dad/cool uncle to her. He resided in her family's home before moving to another house in his 2nd exile on Saint Helena. The genres would be: historical, animated, satire, dramedy, coming of age. It would also be a commentary on propaganda, memory, perception, manipulation, etc...
2. First Betrayal (name might change) - About young Napoleon and his transformation from Corsican to French nationalism. When Napoleon was younger, he was a Corsican nationalist, hated France, and was bullied for his accent, origins, nose, etc... He switched to French nationalism around 1793 because of conflict with one of the Corsican nationalist leaders called Paoli and overall social pressure. The genres: historical, drama, coming of age. Themes would be nationalism, xenophobia, bullying, generational trauma, fame, suicidal thoughts, depression, forced conformity...

I'm curious if these ideas seem interesting! :) I am also looking for a potential co-director for Boney & I, but keep in mind that even if this movie gets made that won't happen in years.
