Since joining this platform in June and becoming part of the community trying to recover access to suspended Meta accounts, I’ve come to realize something important: we are not just dealing with Meta’s silence we are also being targeted by opportunistic scammers.

Recently, I had a respectful conversation with another user on a public post, discussing Meta verification and whether it might help recover our accounts. I shared that I was trying to reach Meta support and had even sent evidence from my business account to a Meta agent. She assured me she’d follow up soon.

Then, out of nowhere, a random user messaged me privately, telling me something along the lines of, “your account might be screwed,” and began offering unsolicited advice. 🚩

I politely told this person that it wasn’t their business trying to maintain boundaries and keep it respectful. But instead of backing off, they snapped back with a passive-aggressive comment:

“If you really wanted help, you wouldn’t say nice.”

That statement exposed exactly what this was:
👉 A scam attempt.
👉 An emotionally manipulative tactic.
👉 A fake “helper” trying to gain trust, only to steal information.

Let me be clear:

⚠️ These individuals are exploiting the uncertainty and stress many of us are facing with our locked or suspended Meta accounts.
⚠️ They are not here to help they are here to make money or steal your personal information, like your ID, email, or login details.

PROTECT YOURSELF & OTHERS
1.Never share personal data like IDs, emails, or logins with random users even if they sound professional or empathetic.
2.Don’t trust anyone who reaches out unsolicited, especially if they use pressure tactics or emotional manipulation.
3.Stick to official Meta channels even if they’re slow, they are still your safest route.
4.Report and block suspicious accounts trying to engage you privately.
5.Stay connected to the community not everyone is bad, but we have to look out for one another.

We’re all here trying to recover what we built our brands, businesses, communities. Don’t let scammers make things worse. And remember: if someone truly wants to help, they will respect your boundaries not punish you for them.
