Are there any other advantages of legendary-ing skills other than gaining more exp for perk points?

I plan on power leveling my skills, and once I get all my skills to 100, I was split on how I should proceed, I can level destruction to 100 in the span of a fast travel, so can I just keep doing that over and over or would it be better to legendary my skills as soon as I get them to 100?
