Sharing on behalf of a host parent: “Our au pair doesn’t clean up after herself—her bathroom is a mess, and the kitchen is often left untidy. We assumed she'd help out with basic cleanup as part of living with us, but maybe we weren’t clear enough. We’re now creating a list of shared expectations, but it’s uncomfortable. Advice?”
