It's just all so lonely...

Vent

Being trans feels so lonely. You fight everyday in silence, in your head. People constantly hurt you, either on purpose or not. You can have a good day then see your reflection for a split second and completely shatter your mood.

You do so many efforts, yet no one celebrates them, no one say they are proud or happy for you unless you ask them to.

Even when you share your pain with others they don't fully understand it, they hardly ever understand any of it really.

I just want to be held, to be told I'm doing a good job, that my body is looking more feminine as the days go by, that my efforts mean something.

It's just so lonely, even when you are surrounded by kind people who love you.
