About amrita amritapuri campus

Can someone, preferably a girl, tell me how life in amrita amritapuri campus is? I'm not particularly worried about academics but I'll like to know about how strict they are in what all aspects. Like, are they too strict about clothing style? And in the hostel, what exactly are the major rules I should lookout for? And about the food, are we allowed to go out to hotels and eat, and can we sneak in non veg or smt?
