No one plays support past Celestial 1

I've run into sort of a problem with the game, and that is that there are barely any support players past Celestial 1. No one wants to play the role. Now as for why that might be, I'll be speaking as someone who plays support in Eternity ~200 and hasn't seen another instalock support in honestly fucking weeks lmao. Whenever I play on my fill account (always pick last/whatever the team requests) which is a similar rank, I am always relegated to support. MAYBE 1/100 games (I am not embellishing that statistic) I get tank, but it's almost always support.

So why is that?

Support at a high rank is honestly just a bit disappointing. I feel I have hit the skill ceiling on the role and thus have no way to further impact games. I am bound to my backline with my other support lest one of us is caught alone and killed almost instantly, I need to get my ult in time and use it perfectly, I need to keep 6 dummies alive (myself included), track ults, track every player's position, make calls, and a whole bunch of other stuff. And you know what? I fucking LOVE doing that, but when that's not enough, there's nothing else I can do to win a game. It sucks.

I think my issue is that there is no other way to play support really. Once you have all that stuff down, it really just comes down to whose team is better, which is unfortunate. I wish there were more options for me as a support player to impact the game
