Any mod to turn into bunny/how to make my own?

HiI!! I've seen a lot of mods for different cats, red pandas, and even a dog, but I wanna play as my favorite animal: a bunny! I can't find a mod like this online, so how can I go about making my own? Adding customization features to the bunny (like fur colors, fluffiness, lop or pointy ears, ect) is something I'd like to do as well.
