Question about staying at Doha airport

Hi, so me and my spouse will be visiting Doha, Qatar soon, please pray we make it safely and happily😊. However, we will be flying from different countries and my spouse will be there before me, I will be arriving after some hours. We will be going through immigration together. So I was wondering if it’s possible my spouse can wait for me or is there no waiting place at all and they will make my spouse go through immigration?
