Question about shoes

Never thought id have to turn to reddit😁

Me and my gf for some reason both of us have some next level stinky ass shoes. I don’t know why. Like her jordans reek after a day at lectures n shit.

We’re normal we wash properly, everywhere, and we always use perfume/fragrance, deoderant, we aren’t unhygienic and we do our laundry properly See the thing is, when me and my chick are out, i can never smell anything bad from her and she can’t smell anything bad from me ever. The thing is, she always gets compliments about how she smells, even tho her shoes reek 10x worse than mine, Whereas the last compliment i got was in March when i wore Xerjoff Naxos.

I just want to know, how tf do people say my girl smells good if her shoes reek more than mine And how do people never tell me? Is it cause my shoes can be smelt by others or is it because of societal norms, idfk
