Hiking advice to Mount Burwell

Hello everyone I'm new to BC specifically Vancouver and I was thinking about taking on Mount Burwell trail from Lynn park headwaters. I am an experienced hiker but not a pro, my biggest concern is wild life bears and mountain lions, how much should i worry about encountering them.
