Swallowing tons of air with cpap

Hello everyone, Im having a lot of issues with my cpap therapy, however im trying to make this work. One of the issues came up last night, after 2 hours of wearing the cpap, I woke up with very sharp abdomen pains. It felt that I swallowed a TON of air, like instead of getting air into my lungs it went down my esophagus and was filling up my stomach/intestines.

When I woke up and removed my mask, I immediately started belching air. Eventually, the pain went away whenever I could release more air. This is odd, and a new issue and I’m not sure how to handle this.

Has this happened to anyone before?
